Every score out of 10
Find the number correct or the number wrong, and pick a score for its full breakdown. Percentages are rounded to one decimal, never up past a grade boundary.
How to work out a score out of 10
- Divide the number correct by 10. For 9 out of 10: 9 ÷ 10 = 0.9.
- Multiply by 100: 90%.
- Find that on the grading scale. A is 90% and up, B 80%, C 70% and D 60%, so 9/10 is an A.
Every wrong answer costs 10 percentage points on this test. The grading scales guide compares the standard, plus/minus and 7-point scales.
